The Animals This is Major, and although he has "major" shoes to fill to take Bubba's place, he is a steadfast love. And of course, Pete's wingman. Medora just joined us as well. A 30-year old retired trail horse, she is now my diamond. Chosen for her gentle demeanor, she is treasured here. This is Ralphie. He's spunky for sure. He is the bravest of the trio and will give you a look that makes you laugh. This is Carma, short for Caramel. She's a Tennesse Walker and just beautiful. I can tell she's ready to be someone's friend with time and trust. Meet Frankie. His name is short for Frankenstein due to his misshapen nostril from an accident in his youth. He is always watching but also loves a good scratch by his ears. JD...short for John Deere was one of my few decisions made without the pure blessing of Pete. But he's been nothing but good. Thank you Reverent Retrievers. Monk (I call her Emms) was a gift for Pete for his birthday. She has big shoes to fill. Our sweet Molly that we lost in 2019 had a giant heart. This girl's heart is just as big, and I've never had a more loyal "by my side" dog. These two are truly brother and sister with a love/hate relationship. He's big, but never scary. Major is a gentle giant and big heart. This is my “animal” gang. They are the start and heart of this place. And I love them FIERCELY.
